The important role nurses and midwives play in Australia’s cyber security network is the theme of a webinar jointly run by the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation and the Australian Digital Health Agency as part of their digital health series.
Cyber-attacks can lead to loss or theft of sensitive health information, reputational damage, disruption to service delivery, and financial loss. The webinar will delve into cyber security and how you can protect yourself and your healthcare organisation and what is being done to protect digital health information.
This webinar will also discuss what you can do to enhance cyber security in your practice, and will help you to understand the targets and tactics that threaten cyber security. There will also be a discussion of My Health Record’s security and privacy features. Live attendees will have the opportunity to be involved in a Q&A with the Agencies cyber security team.
