All nurses and midwives have until 31 May to renew their general or non-practising registration to avoid any delays or late fees.
You should have already received an email from Ahpra reminding you to register via your online portal. The 2026-27 fee for general registration is $193, or $189 for NSW-based nurses. Late renewal incurs a $30 fee. If you don’t renew by 1 July, your registration and lapses and your name is removed from the national register.
