Position Summary:
A vacancy exists in the above unit for a highly motivated Registered Nurse with appropriate knowledge and skills to join our friendly and supportive team. The Registered Nurse will provide specialist nursing services to ambulatory based clients and their carers including the provision of client centred, evidence based nursing care and is expected to embrace practice development principles in the delivery of that care.

Xavier 8 South is a 22 bed high acuity surgical ward with multiple specialities including Trauma, Surgical Oncology, Ear Nose and Throat, Head and Neck, Upper Gastrointestinal, Surgical Oncology and Colorectal Surgery. Xavier 8 South is seeking passionate, skilled and committed registered nurses to join our team. We are seeking those with clinical knowledge and skills, in addition to the motivation to learn, develop, and contribute to the provision of evidence based, clinically sound, holistic patient care.

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the provision of patient-centred, evidence-based nursing care that embraces a quality improvement approach.
