Nurse Practitioner | Nephrology
About the Role
You will be a registered nurse who has acquired an expert knowledge base, has outstanding, decision making skills and sound clinical competencies for advanced and extended practice. You will be an integral member of the health care team who practices autonomously but in collaboration with other health professionals to assess and manage clients within their clinical context using nursing knowledge and skills.
Duties

Provides expert nephrology nursing care; applies a diverse range of interventions based on theoretical concepts, research findings, critical thinking and clinical reasoning.

Uses clinical judgment to vary practice according to contextual and cultural influences.

Promotes a collaborative interdisciplinary approach to care.

Refers problems or complications requiring collaboration and consultation to treating nephrologists.

Liaises with regional hospitals regarding nephrology patient care
Classifications for this position will be classification NO1 ($93,947 per annum).
