• Salary: $107,953 to $112,778 – RNM3 – Part Time 0.4 FTE / Term Contract (temporary up to 31 December 2021)

our role will be to develop, manage and review DASSA’s infection control program and ensure that the program meets appropriate standards. Keeping abreast of new practices in infection control standards, you will respond and contribute to documents being developed within DASSA and SA Health including reviewing DASSA infection control policies, clinical procedures and guidelines on a regular basis. You may be required to attend departmental infection control meetings and forums. Your regular duties will include staff education and audits in antibiotic utilisation, hand hygiene and infection control management. You will work with and support a small but active DASSA Infection Control Sub-Committee, and provide advice to other clinical staff on infection control as required. With demonstrated competence in the management and practice of infection control in accordance with the relevant standards, you will be registered as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, holding a current practising certificate.
