About the Role

You are an experienced Mental health Nurse who has completed their post graduate studies in mental health and who enjoys working in a multidisciplinary team. You are familiar with a case management model of care, and working with complex mental health conditions and co-morbid physical health issues.

• Complete bio-psychosocial assessments, treatment plans, risk management and discharge plans in accordance with policy and guidelines
• Be familiar with NDIS and support consumers accessing the scheme and services accordingly
• Build a therapeutic alliance with the consumer and family/carers and actively engage them in the planning, delivery and evaluation of their care
• Undertake the assessment, provision of treatment and delivery of targeted interventions to consumers with complex mental health related needs and their family/carers
• 7 day roster with 2 afternoon shifts available on Tuesdays and Thursdays each week

Classifications for this position will range from Registered Psychiatric Nurse Grade 3 NP81 – NP74 ($96,543 – $107,213 per annum pro rata)
