About the Role
Denman Multi Purpose Service has an amazing new opportunity for a Health Service Manager to lead and manage the clinical services team to provide excellent patient/client care within the facility in order to maximise the health outcomes for the community. The successful applicant will lead and manage the clinical services team to provide excellent patient/resident care within Denman Multi Purpose Service (MPS). You will work as part of the Hunter Valley Sector Executive Team and act as a primary interface between senior managers of the service and front line staff. Accountabilities include advancing Excellence initiatives, developing and maintaining collaborative relationships and networks to support seamless service delivery across heath care teams as well as working clinically as required.
You will form part of the executive team of the Hunter Valley Sector supported by the General Manager and Health Service Managers of the Executive Team. You will also be supported with a friendly team, monthly accountability meetings and an annual personal development plan.
Where you’ll be working
The Denman MPS is a 19-bed facility with 13 flexible beds allocated to high level residential aged care patients, 4 flexible acute care beds and 2 Emergency Department bays. Respite care is provided in a residential setting. Staff Accommodation available. A small country town with a big name in fine wine, good food and heritage charm, Denman is a gem of the beautiful Upper Hunter with rolling vineyards and cellar doors to champion horse studs and magnificent national parks.
About You
You have a demonstrated ability to lead, coach, mentor and guide others to enable them to reach their full potential as well as a focus on service excellence evidenced by the ability to read and act on issues quickly, decisively and effectively. To be successful in this role you will be a highly motivated leader with relevant post graduate qualifications in clinical leadership or management.
