The role

The Karumba Primary Health Care Clinic (PHCC) is a level one, nurse-led facility offering a range of primary health care, chronic disease management, emergency stabilisation and pathology collection services. There is a GP clinic run 12 hours per week from the facility, and visiting specialist services are coordinated.

This role provides advanced clinical and professional leadership in the delivery and coordination of patient centered care, unit portfolio management and professional practice development for nursing and healthcare staff.

Facilitation of mandatory training for Karumba PHCC staff members will be a key part of the role.

Applicants with RIPRN and Immunisation qualifications will be highly regarded.

Mandatory requirements are a relevant tertiary degree qualification and appropriate registration/licences. Pre-employment screening, including criminal history checks and Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) risk role compliance, will be conducted for the successful candidate. Permanent roles may include a period of probation.
