South West Hospital and Health Service has an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Nurse to join our team at the Hospital Based Ambulance site of Quilpie, Western Qld.

Your opportunity

The Clinical Nurse, Quilpie Western QLD, practices autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team to provide nursing services within a rural / remote health service setting.

Quilpie is a Hospital Based Ambulance site and you will be required to participate in the on-call roster to provide 24hr pre-hospital emergency first response using the hospital-based ambulance or first-response vehicle.

You are also required to operate a hospital-based ambulance or first-response vehicle (4WD) which requires a ‘C’-Class Manual Driver’s Licence.

Quilpie Multi-Purpose Health Service is a 14 bed facility located approximately 950kms West of Brisbane servicing a population of 654 people.
