Clinical and Recruitment Co-ordinator
Altaira is seeking a person to take responsibility for recruiting, training and managing our clinical and care workforce under the direction of our Clinical Operations Manager.
Altaira supply nurses, care workers and hospitality staff in both the residential and community aged care sectors to multiple major clients in South Australia and the Northern Territory. We pride ourselves on our clinical governance and support of new graduates which is unique amongst labour hire companies.
About the position
You will be currently registered with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse and be enthusiastic about mentoring and training graduate staff to work in aged care. Ideally, you will have experience with training and education within an aged care environment. You will be familiar with the Aged Care Standards as well as current aged care legislation. Some experience in Human Resources or recruitment will be looked upon favourably as would experience with using quality systems. You will be comfortable with learning new software and have basic Microsoft Office skills.
About the job
Reporting to the Clinical Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing clinical incidents, and related performance management of casual pool staff. You will also be responsible for recruitment and onboarding of nurses and care workers and conducting training sessions as directed by the Clinical Operations Manager. You will also provide training and support to new graduates when they visit our clients’ sites. Some local travel and out of office work is therefore expected.
