An exciting new book project is aiming to help break down the taboo around the menopause conversation worldwide.
We are including a diverse range of voices from around the globe, and would like to invite members of the ANMF to share their own experiences and thoughts in a short interview.
To participate you don’t need to be going through menopause.
The book will include those experiencing perimenopause, menopause, post-menopause, and also who have had hormonally induced or surgical menopause; plus it could be younger women’s expectations, and the book is open to male or female partners of people going through menopause. Contributions can be anonymised.
The book is being published in October 2020 by Flint, a new imprint from highly respected UK independent publisher The History Press.
As the general editor, I will record and write up the interviews into first-person pieces for a chapter focusing on Australian nurses and midwives and your particular perspectives. There is a small fee as thanks for each contributor interviewed.
To find out more, please email me, Caroline Harris, at email@example.com, with a few lines about yourself. I am planning to conduct interviews by the end of February with around four people who contact me.
