Professor Tom Wainright PhD PgDip PgCert PCEC BSc (Hons) MCSP, is a Professor of Orthopaedics, and Deputy Head of Orthopaedic Research Institute, Bournemouth University, Clinical Researcher in Orthopaedics, University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust and is internationally recognised for his work and leadership regarding Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) protocols within orthopaedics. Professor Wainright has a track record of leading research and professional practice, with over £4 million in grant income as Chief Investigator and over 100 peer-reviewed publications in the last 5 years. Professor Wainright is passionate about improving the quality of our healthcare systems and works to help others improve the quality of their services through teaching and consultancy.
